Dr. Tripp Bartholomew Winston-Salem, NC
Dr. Bartholomew was born in Charlotte, NC. He moved to Shallotte, NC when he was 13, where he managed his family's BBQ restaurant while graduating valedictorian at West Brunswick High School. He earned a degree in political science from Davidson College then attended the UNC Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry for dental school. While in Chapel Hill, he was a member of the Strategic Planning Committee and Honor Court, and took part in a service trip to the Philippines. He also met his wife, Abby, during his first year and they were married 3 years later in Sylva, NC. After dental school, Dr. Bartholomew continued his dental education by attending VCU School of Dentistry for an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, where he expanded his skills and learned how to manage complex dental rehabilitations.
Dr. Bartholomew is an avid learner and spends hundreds of hours each year learning new techniques, materials, and how to provide the best possible service to his patients. He has completed advanced training at the Kois Center in Seattle, as well as the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida. He has completed advanced training in the placement of dental implants through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is a member of the local Seattle Study Club, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry, NC Dental Society, Forsyth County Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Bartholomew's priority is treating each patient's unique needs to achieve maximum function, esthetics, and longevity; getting to know his patients as individuals and creating a welcoming environment for everyone. He collaborates with local dental specialists to address complex treatment needs and obtain the best possible result for every patient.
When not in the office, you will find Dr. Bartholomew spending time with his wife and two young children, caring for their greyhounds, cooking up delicious meals, and rooting for his beloved Tar Heels. His other passions include travel, live music (especially bluegrass), and golf.
